Mitchel Ihezue began her career as a model in 2016 when she signed with Beth Model Management. Since then, she has worked with several modeling brands including the House of Tara, Mai Atafo, and Lanre  Da Silva.

Mitchel Ihezue has appeared on the covers of magazines including Exquisite, Complete Fashion, and ThisDay Style. She came to the spotlight in 2017 after she won the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN). Thereafter, she represented Nigeria at the Miss World 2017 pageant in China where she won the Miss World Top Model Award and she also made it to the top 40.
