Ruger whose real name is Michael Adebayo is a Nigerian singer & song writer that was born in Lagos state Nigeria. He is the only son in his family.

He comes from a family of music lovers, so he picked up an interest in music at an early age. He was part of his church choir as a vocalist when he was just a teenager.

Ruger also started composing songs as well as performing in local shows and his school events. Growing up, his musical influences were Bob marley, Rihanna, Boyz II men, Beyonce, R Kelly, 2baba and more.

According to report, D’prince is partnering with sony music west Africa and Columbia records to manage the talented artiste.

On the 20th of January 2020, Ruger featured in his debut song under the label titled “One shirt” alongside D’prince and Rema.
